These Terms apply to the following applications:

  • Money Buddies by Smart Money Buddies – a parent-managed family and children’s educational app
  • Finchieve by Smart Money Buddies – an adult-focused financial education app

They also apply to our website, which may provide information about our apps and link to our books or content hosted on third-party platforms such as Amazon.

By accessing or using any of our apps or website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Eligibility & Audience

Money Buddies by Smart Money Buddies

  • A parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account.
  • Parents may create child profiles for educational use.
  • Children do not create independent accounts.
  • Children cannot make purchases.

Finchieve by Smart Money Buddies

  • Intended for users 18 years of age or older.
  • Not designed for children.
  • By using this app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

All content; features, products, books, and materials provided through our apps, website, and related offerings are for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing provided through our services constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, nor should it be construed as a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer to buy or sell any securities or financial instruments in any jurisdiction.

3. Accounts & Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activity under your account
  • Supervising child use of Money Buddies by Smart Money Buddies

You agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it as necessary.

4. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

A. Payments

All purchases are processed through:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play

We do not process or store payment card information.

B. Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings

C. One-Time Purchases

Certain content may be offered as a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks permanently for the applicable account.

D. Purchase Management

We may use a third-party service such as RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases, receipt validation, and entitlement access across devices.

E. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We do not issue refunds directly.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access locked or paid features without authorization
  • Circumvent in-app purchase mechanisms
  • Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit app content or systems
  • Interfere with app security or functionality

  • RevenueCat – in-app purchase and subscription management
  • Firebase – analytics, diagnostics, and/or push notifications
  • Sentry – crash reporting and error monitoring
  • Apple App Store and Google Play – app distribution and payment processing

Your use of third-party platforms is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

8. Availability & Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or content at any time without notice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

9. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect users, systems, or our services

Termination does not affect subscriptions already purchased through Apple or Google.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no warranties regarding:

  • Accuracy or completeness of content
  • Availability or reliability of services
  • Results obtained from use of the apps or website

Use is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or profits
  • Decisions made outside the apps or website

Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable service.
